The Best Place for Your Career? Your Own Hands!

Wherever you're listening in from today, welcome back to the Who Are You To Lead Anyway? podcast for mastering skills to navigate Leadership & Life! Episode 13!

The world of work is changing and when I think about what employees used to value in the past those things were: pay, satisfaction, working for a good boss and having a job.

Now  employees value: purposeful work, a focus on their strengths, development of their skills, ongoing career conversations that enable them to have a happy life. It's less about  "what we do" and more about why we do it and how we want to work.

I do a lot of coaching around careers and in this episode, we'll explore the following:

  • The benefits of taking charge of your career

  • The risks of relying on others in your career

  • How to set yourself up for success long term, and

  • Best practices to give yourself the upper hand.

My intention was to inspire you to put yourself in the driver's seat and get moving!
